What you need for UAB registration:

• Select several alternatives for your company name (our staff will check whether the name is available and will reserve it in the system of the Centre of Registers).
• To register your company, you will need the registration address (if you have no suitable premises, you can use the registration address service of BUHALTERIJOS CENTRAS).
• For paperwork we will need the details of the founder (s) and the company manager (full name, personal identification number, place of residence).
• Consider the main activities and areas of business (based on this, we will choose suitable items from the NACE and indicate it in your statutes).

Founder (s) of the UAB will receive the following company documents:

• Articles of association of the UAB.
• Deed of incorporation of the UAB.
• Extract from the register of companies of your company's registration.

Seal is optional for UAB like for other legal entities, but if a company decided to use it, we will make it and provide together with the company's documents.

When it's worth to register UAB?

Private limited liability company (UAB) is the most popular form of business not only because of limited financial liability of owners in case of the company's failure (liability for the company's obligations only to the extent of the company's assets), but also the clear rights of owners, and diversity of capital raising methods. Founders and owners of UAB can be either natural or legal persons (up to 250 shareholders), making it really convenient to bring bigger investors to the company, which most often tends to be another legal entity. It is important to mention that contribution for setting up a UAB is at least EUR 2.500 in the share capital.
